In 1990 I got a diploma as civil engineer in Odessa (Ukraine). After University I decided to learn foreign languages as a contribution to my professional life. I learned English as well as German. After some years of working as engeneer I decided to change my job and started working with languages. My native language is Russian. So the languages I work with are Russian, English and German.
Since 2004 I‘ve been living in Erkrath near Dusseldorf.and constantly working as a freelancer with the three languages. I teach English, German and Russian, translate and interpret at conferences, trade fairs, negotiations and other events.
My engineering background helps me achieve good results in both - translating work and language training. With the same interest and dedication I work with non-technical topics.
As a language trainer I work with teaching methodology which helps me design my lessons in an efficient, dynamic and learners-friendly way. For proper application of this methodology I am internationally certified as an English trainer.
I still like learning foreign languages. Now, in my free time, I am learning French and Italian. So I can better understand obstacles and problems my students might come across while learning, and offer them relevant and .reasonable support.
I am looking forward to answering your questions and getting your enquiries. Together we can find the most suitable for your language needs, model of work.
My next professional goal is to create a language center that also works online and offers services related to foreign languages - teaching, educational programs, professional development, translation, interpretation, working with texts, as well as a variety of seminars and conferences.
As a freelancer I am eager to cooperate with other freelancers (linguists, marketing specialists, event - and project managers, IT specialists etc.), as well as language schools, and agencies.
I am looking forward to your interesting and innovative cooperation ideas, and to sharing mine with you..
